Abdio AVI Video Converter is an application that converts video from many popular formats such as ASF, WMV, AVS, MKV, MOV , MP4, MPG, MPEG, DAT, OGM, RM, RMVB, TS, TP, IFO, NSV, MP3, AAC, WAV, WMA, CDA, FLAC, M4A, MID, MKA, MP2, MPA, MPC, APE, OFR, OGG, RA, WV, TTA, AC3, DTS to AVI.
You can also configure advanced output settings like frame size, video encoder (Xvid, X264), video bit rate, audio channels, sample rate, volume, encoder (AAC, AC3, FLAC, MP3), aspect ratio, video duration (by setting start and end points to convert a clip or segment), and convert options like log level and thread priority, among others.
This program has a simple and easy to use interface and lets you control advanced output settings, but lacks editing tools (to crop, add effects, watermarks to your video) so it is a good option for those who only want to convert a batch of videos with different formats to AVI but don't need to edit the output.
